Hi again, Polzeath calling. Polzeath Beach, Baby Bay and Port Quin were all looking good this weekend, lots of ideas for photography workshops and images of silver seas for the summer.
I planned a new photography workshop at Port Quin, which I had forgotten how beautiful it is with views of the ocean against the beach and the sky. I will run it as an option location for 'how to use your camera' and 'how to take better photographs' photography workshops. It works well as a location at low tide.
My website markashbeephotography.com is improving daily, I have lots of new black and white images to add to it and some new colour images.

My influence page for this week is soul II soul at

    http://www.soul2soul.co.uk/startpage/ .

My connection is that I was the photography assistant on the first album cover Club Classics Volume 1, working for Jamie Morgan. I remember Nellee Hooper asking me how come I was there, as we knew each other from Bristol.
Anyway we had a studio full of musicians, lots of ego, Jazzy B and his distinct voice and opinion and some great tunes. So to make all this work I suggested trying a silhouette style as all had striking profiles, it worked. I have always liked the silhouette style and use it often to create emotion and feelings in portraits and landscapes, a happy face, a thumping bass for a loving race.
