Liability Limitations
Mark Ashbee Photography Workshops and all other workshops known as Polzeath Photography Workshops, aim to provide every participant a safe, educational, and enjoyable experience. I assume no liability for any act, error, omission, injury, loss, delay, mishap, or damage to persons or property arising from any cause during the course of the workshop or in transit thereto. I can accept no responsibility for losses or additional expenses due to delay or changes in the services to be provided. I can accept no responsibility for damage or loss of a participant's camera equipment and other personal items. I am not responsible for unforeseen events such as weather, emergencies, heath issues, and other circumstances beyond control. I reserve the right to change our arrangements should conditions necessitate, or to cancel any aspect of the workshop due to unforeseen circumstances. In the event that we deem it necessary to cancel the workshop we will attempt to register you into a future workshop at the equal value.
By registering, paying for, joining, and participating in this workshop, you, the attendee, acknowledge that I have read the above information concerning responsibility and release Mark Ashbee from any liability. Mark Ashbee will assume no liability for injury, illness, or loss of personal property or expenses thereof associated with workshop participation. The participant waives any claim against the Mark Ashbee, and any the advertised workshops. The instructor bears no responsibility for any such loss, damage, injury, or death.
By registering for a Mark Ashbee Photography Workshop or Polzeath Photography Workshop, the participant certifies that he/she does not have any mental, physical, or other condition or disability that would create a hazard for him/herself or other participants. Mark Ashbee reserves the right in their sole discretion to accept, decline to accept, or remove any participant on a Mark Ashbee Photography Workshop. Mark Ashbee reserves the right, without penalty, to make changes in the published itinerary whenever, in their judgment, conditions warrant, or if they deem it necessary for the comfort, convenience, or safety of participants.
Mark Ashbee reserves the right to take, and use photographs of participants for web sites and other promotional material unless the participant desires otherwise.
Payments, Cancellations, and Refunds:
To reserve space on a Mark Ashbee Photography Workshop, payments must be made in full. Payments must be made by cash, cheque or PayPal. Mark Ashbee Photography reserves the right to cancel a reservation if deposit has not been received by 7 days prior to departure. All cancellation notices must be received in writing and will become effective as of the date of the postmark or email. If you cancel 30 days or more prior to departure, a full refund, less an administrative fee of 20%.will be charged. Cancellations 10 to 30 days prior, 30% will be charged. Cancellations 5 -9 days prior, 50% of tuition will be charged. No refunds if you cancel the workshop 0-4 days prior to the workshop. You may also use your fee as credit to a future workshop.
If the workshop is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, a best effort will be made to re schedule the class on a future date. Or, your tuition may be applied as credit to any other workshop offered.
When workshops are sold out, a second session may be scheduled.
As there is always an element of risk in any adventure associated with the outdoors, participants must read this form carefully. By signing up for a Mark Ashbee Photography Workshop with Mark Ashbee you release him from all liability. You also certify that the participant is physically fit and capable of participating in outdoor photography exercises in field locations, and is fully and completely aware of any associated risks created by field locations and weather.
I am not responsible to any other expenses the participant might incur such as plane fares, rental cars, hotels, etc., in case of cancellation.
Please try to book 36 hours in advance, so I can plan for your needs, but I have been known to take bookings 1 hour before .
